The slip-on design gives these guards a low-profile, low-bulk feel that saves weight and the articulated, perforated neoprene chassis delivers a great fit. The padding provides minor-to-medium impact protection as well as abrasion resistance, but isn't so substantial as to inhibit range of motion. These might be more accurately named the Launch Trail knee guards.
